I just preordered these shoes (so they won't be here until the end of July which is such a bummer, but they are definitely worth the wait.) I love everything about them-they are my perfect wedge. They can be worn with black tights to make the leg look miles long or dress up a pair of dark wash jeans. Plus they have open toes so they can be summer heels too. I can't wait to get these!

SHE'S THIN, SHE'S BLONDE, SHE SAYS "WOW" A LOT.
Cassie Ainsworth, a waifish thin girl with large brown eyes and long blonde hair, was always one of my favorite characters on the British TV show Skins. She was a wounded fairy, a girl who dealt with anorexia and unrequited love, who had a penchant for dreamily saying "Oh, wow" and who was always impeccably dressed in a hodgepodge of vintage dresses, quirky thigh high socks, and mixed patterns. She was a grown up Alice in Wonderland, a childlike soul dealing with a world of drugs and heartache.
As creepy as this may sound, my favorite scene of her's was always her suicide attempt. Donned in a white dress, shimmery maroon thigh highs and gold oxfords, Cassie overdoses on pills while dreamily dancing on a park bench and drinking vodka through a little green water gun.
Cassie's style is as zany as she is. She favors layering textures, colors and prints while playing with proportions. She may mix a black sequined top over a long sleeved bright floral one, or wear a long skirt with tall socks and watches on her ankles.
While no one can ever be Cassie (as everyone is an original being), you can draw inspiration from her outfits.
-Mix textures. This can make an outfit exciting if done right. Pair harder textures, like tweed for example, with lighter ones, such as silk.
-Mix patterns. The key to doing this without looking insane is by trying to keep a core color in both patterns.
-Play up your whimsical, childlike side. Don't be afraid to wear something a little kooky.
Pieces you may want to pick up:
-long skirts (pair them with high socks and a graphic t-shirt)
-vintage dresses
-oxfords or mary janes (even better if they're sparkly.)

ORANGE//
Isabelle Lucas, Glamour magazine, unknown
For some reason, I hated the color orange until now. In small doses I really like it, I think its perfect for summer.

ASHLEY//
I wish I had a better quality version of this picture, but its a perfect outfit, I couldn't resist posting it. Speaking of posting, sorry for the lack of that lately! But don't worry, school has just ended, and I have two tests and then it's summer!
P.S. Happy (belated) 25th Birthday, Ashley & Mary Kate Olsen!

DARIA//
Daria Werbowy shot by Cass Bird for T Magazine
Summer is almost here. Like many other people, it's my favorite season-no school, the warm weather & most importantly the beach! For a laid back style like Daria's in this spread, keep your outfits simple & accessories light. Lightweight tank tops are perfect for the summer, bonus points if they have a cool cut. Pick up a basic, well fitting black bikini, or if you want, a cut-out one piece. When the sun sets, throw on a thin pullover and a pair of jean shorts over your bikini.
When you're not in the water, a few gold & friendship styled bracelets and/or a cord necklace are all you need. Keep make-up light, the water will wash it off anyways! Besides, who enjoys wearing tons of make-up to the beach? It's uncomfortable! The only thing you need is maybe tinted moisturizer & lots of sunblock!

SCOUT WILLIS//
Scout Willis has the coolest life-her parents are Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, she's lived in France, and she has an amazing dorm room with an even more enviable wardrobe. Stylelikeu posted a wonderful video & set of photos of her describing her personal style here, which is a bohemian mix of vintage and eclectic pieces. She takes inspiration from many decades, such as the 20's & the 50's, books like F. Scott Fitzgerald's Flappers and Philosophers, films like The Royal Tenenbaums (note her amazing fur coat) & more.
Be inspired by Scout:
-Find inspiration from different decades. Scout wears Victorian styled blouses and 20's styled slips. Look to the past decades for fashion AND beauty inspiration (Scout likes to wear her hair like a 50's greaser.) Feel free to mix decades too, like sixties styled winged eyeliner and bellbottoms styled jeans from the 70's.
-Shop vintage. This is a great way to get unique pieces, and authentic articles from your favorite decade.
-Mix textures. Try fur (real or faux!) and suede or silk and denim.
-Accessories! This is a great way to make a simple outfit interesting. For a bohemian feel, Scout loves to pile on turquoise. Try to build a collection of rings, necklaces, & bracelets which you can pile on.
-Gain inspiration from more than fashion itself. Read books, watch movies, listen to music, and look at the world around you. Allow these to stimulate your senses, allow yourself to think outside the box.
-Don't be afraid to wear something outrageous if you really love it. Scout believes everyone can pull everything off, as long as they are "willing to walk out of the house and really own whatever you're wearing."
Some pieces you may want to pick up:
-a great fur coat (real or faux)
-knee high boots
-silver & turquoise jewelry
-flared/bell-bottom denim
-a maxi skirt or dress
