 stella mccartney's awesome garden party presentation for her 2013 resort collection

absolutely love this garden party presentation. the models remind of me of english school girls in the 60s who, after school's over, travel out to california and don crochet fringe dresses and unkept hair to tour with the mamas and the papas... seriously, how perfect is that last photo? i think we can all agree now that stella can do no wrong. perhaps for my birthday, i'll throw my own stella inspired soiree, complete with star shaped sunnies, pastel prim collars, bright festival ready dresses, and a live jazz band playing in the background.

it's finally july! just had a fun night of watching fireworks and going to a party which was busted early thanks to the cops. these photos just seem like an ideal laidback yet crazy fun summer days, plus they have the ideal summer wardrobe-high waisted jean shorts, white t's, loose tanks and messy hair. xx

things that have happened recently:

-my computer hard drive crashed

- i lost everything on it

-i ordered the most perfect chelsea boots

-we had a crazy heatwave

-i graduated high school!



stuff thats inspiring me lately:
the amazing art of australian artist kathryn del barton

her work is so inspiring and dreamy and whimsical. they all look like little fairies and water nymphs, but they also have this strange ugliness to them, as if they're sickly or something but that's what makes them even more beautiful and striking. my favorite part is especially their eyes, big and inky and childlike. i'm definitely inspired to go make some beautifully creepy creatures right now xx

ap exams are over, school is ending very soon, and my last summer before college is beginning.  i just want to smoke cigarettes and drink and stay up all night as much as possible. also hopefully i'll post more xx

I just had a crazy weekend and life has been pretty good, but suuuper busy, so sorry for the lack of posts! this st. patty's day i visited the nyc parade and later hung out with all these interesting people and saw the rocky horror picture show which was to say the least, interesting. also i've been really into the color green lately, maybe those leprechauns have been rubbing off on me ;) haha but i think mainly its been the amazing warm weather and the idea that spring is SO close! the idea of owning a house with big open windows and modern architecture surrounded by green plants and trees is just perfection (like the house in the 2nd picture-can you imagine?)
